I used the HPEV50 AC motor so my setup is a little different than yours. I did not purchase the kit by Mike Brown. I followed Jack Rickard's ideas. If you use lead acid batteries you will be disappointed.<br />FYI I can go 100 miles (I have gone 82) and have had the car up to 102 MPH.<br />For all the time you put into this, you will be much happier with your result if you use LiFePho.
